Let's talk about my pivot... to wedding officiant.
I shared a little bit about this pivot and what inspired it at the beginning of covid in this blog post. Since I began working in the wedding industry, almost 15 years ago now, I was always on the outside of the actual event and loved hearing the stories from my business partners about what the actual days were like. This pivot has allowed me to become part of the day in a way I was never able to before. Since I shared that news I’ve actually officiated a few weddings and have found I really love it.
My first micro wedding was back in November with Michelle Garibay Events, Soiree Floral Design, Jake Duke Studio, c squared events, laura marie’s and Muse Moments, I just got some photos and could’t wait to share. Thank you to Jazmin and Byron for allowing me to be part of their beautiful day and for trusting me through the process.
You might be asking yourself, “What is a micro wedding?”, well check out this post I did for Real Weddings Of Temecula for a breakdown on what and how people are getting married in COVID times. I’ll be following up on this post with tips about writing your own vows and more so stay tuned for more on that front.
I have also joined with another team of vendors, RSVP Floral Design and Allie Marion Photography to help couples who are ready to commit without all the fuss to offer pop-in weddings check out that link for all the details.
